let it begin, tonight we'll win...

i am glad i still keep
that blood pulsing in my veins
i am glad i still listen to the same old hymns.

all this crazy red and blue, red and blue, blood and green
and the ball rolling mastodontic against the simple human.

i can only say
that i am glad i still believe in
that blood pulsing in my veins;
sometimes i consider
that
i have possibly become the traitor i am fighting.
